Re: Words Fail
As Kurt Vonnegut once said - "Hooray for firefighters!" Many brave men and women selflessly gave their lives today, and for that, we should be eternally thankful. We should also be thankful for our armed forces, police forces, and other forces, I guess, that have helped to keep the nation running at least somewhat smoothly. Finally, as God once said,
"An eye for an eye."
Gandhi might not like that, but sometimes, justice and mercy must be at odds, as much as that may hurt.
