Words fail.....

If you think what we are feeling here hit close to home, get this. I just finished talking to a freind of mine who lives about a ten minute drive from the pentagon. A large number of his classmates had parents in the pentagon when the plane hit, and they spent the whole afternoon trying to find out if they were killed, one of his classmates had a parent on the flight that crashed into the Pentagon. He could see the smoke billowing out from his backyard and he says there are still air force jets patrolling all around the Washington D.C. area.
Now on to a personal note. This is the kinda shit that you just always think about in the back of your mind, but you never think will really happen. I know I am just reiterating what all the rest of you have said, but regardless of the cost, we need to get any motherfuckers that had anything to with this, the "folks' (to quote our president) who carried it out may be dead, but for anyone who had the slighest bit of prior knowledge about this attack I think we need to break out some hardcore mideavil torture devices. This type of shit will happen again if we don't respond with full, unrestrained reiteration.
As a final note, we must remember the sacrifice made by at least 200 firefighters and rescue personel who courageously lost their lives today as they voluntarily rushed to save the lives of those who were trapped by the crash. This as well as the approx. 800 who died at the pentagon. We might never know how many died at the world trade center, but it could number anywhere from several hundred to 50,000.
