My favorite genre of music is definitely house music... Extremely popular in Europe, but not recognized at all in the US... I like hard house, French house, and disco house. I think it's a strong alternative to the glut of rock/rap/pop music that permeates the radio waves here, it's not cool at all anymore, it's all so status quo.
